Nonwovens are used in a wide range of fields including sports, construction and civil engineering, medicals, electronics, aeronautics and the automobile industry. They are in fact pushing back the boundaries of textile fibre applications. Collaboration between fibre manufacturers, machine builders and product manufacturers is the result of continuous developments. ITMA 2003's nonwoven hall incorporated all types of machinery for the web formation, bonding and finishing of nonwovens and felting together with their accessories.
