As of TR's news deadline, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai was planning to ask his fellow Commissioners to vote at their Dec. 14 meeting on an Internet freedom order to roll back the agency's 2015 open Internet order, a "twilight" towers public notice, a notice of proposed rule-making on the national TV ownership cap, and items dealing with commercial mobile radio services (CMRS) presumption, Blue Alerts, the Rural Health Care (RHC) portion of the Universal Service Fund, and cable system operators' communications with subscribers.
