For designing grid-shell roofa in seismic zones, buckling phenomena must be considered not only for uniformly distributed loads but also for seismic response. Although the seismic response of such single-layered roofe are known to be very complicated, it is represented by asymmetrical distributions. Various optimization techniques have been applied to decide the shape of such roofe, but shape optimization taking seismic response into account is not studied much yet. In this paper,optimized roof shapes which maximizes the buckling strength not only against uniform load but also seismic respornse are investigated%近年,欧州ではダリッドシェルと呼称されるガラス皮膜を支える単層格子屋根構造が盛んに建設されるようになってきている。この背景には伝統建築の躯体に負担をかけない軽量構造による屋外空間の室内化,環境性能の向上等の要求に対し,数値解析技術や加工技術の発展により自由形状の単層格子屋根が容易に設計·施工できるようになつた状況がある。
