摘要

In recent years, China's education policy has been reformed to ensure that primary students receive equal education. The school district system was introduced in 2014. Primary school children were subsequently enrolled in school based on where they live. A reorganization and restructuring of how primary schools were run was carried out simultaneously. Many primary schools were merged to form new school districts. This resulted in a shift in parental perceptions related to the education of their children - a movement away from choosing a primary school and toward purchasing a house in a desired area.This study examines the priority criteria employed by parents when purchasing housing in the various school districts, and the interior decorating of the living space following purchase. We also analyze and compare the diversity in the use of the living space between children in the main school district and children in the branch school district, and the diversity in the perceptions of the living space between parents and children.Doctoral Student, Dept, of Architecture, Faculty of Environmental and Urban Engineering.
