Evaluating the Effectiveness of a School IPM Program: The Review Process Should Involve School Staff as Well

In a school IPM program, the IPM technician must evaluate conditions at every service visit and make control decisions based upon those data. The technician evaluates the effectiveness of his/her decisions on an ongoing basis.rnIPM programs in schools (and in other commercial accounts) must also have a more formalized, periodic review process that goes beyond the technician level. For this review, your company should meet with the school's IPM coordinator, the grounds department, and anyone else involved in implementing the IPM program, to evaluate its effectiveness.
