'The net effect is positive'

The European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA) has published the findings from its study, Solar Photovoltaic Employment in Europe. In the three-year EU project, the EPIA in Brussels, Belgium, the University of Flensburg in Germany, the National Technical University of Athens in Greece, as well as the WIP consultancy in Munich determined how many jobs the photovoltaic industry could create by 2030 in the 27 EU member states. EPIA president Winfried Hoffman characterized the results as, "exceptionally good".
