The modular structure is made of aluminum, while the floors and ceilings are made of translucent polycarbonate with LEDs incorporated and the outer walls of NextGen SmartWrap, an experimental walling composed of an outer layer of transparent plastic containing photovoltaic cells and an inner layer, separated from the first by an airspace, made of 3M film that protects the rooms in the house from solar gain.
