This volume contains the written versions of papers presented during a two-day meeting held at the British Museum on 21 and 22 February 2008. The conference organizers aimed for a wide-ranging group of presentations with the goal of creating cross-disciplinary exchange between professionals involved in conservation and the technical study of cultural heritage.
