Number 2 Tower, Shimao Rivera Garden, Shanghai

摘要

As mentioned, the factors concerning the structural safety of Number 2 Tower were seriously considered. By means of numerical analysis and shaking table tests, etc., several structural problems were taken into account, and counter-measures were investigated and adopted during the design and construction process. Even though it is beyond the limitation of the specifications, the structure of Number 2 Tower has been proven to be safe according to the Chinese Code. The other towers in the Shimao Rivera Garden project are currently under construction.
