Alliance Medical bosses get a taste of life at the sharp end

Senior managers and other central-support office employees at a company that provides health scans are visiting front-line workers to get a flavor of how they operate. Alliance Medical's "day in the life" initiative enables top executives and employees at all levels of the business to better understand patients' experience and the opportunities and challenges that arise every day for front-line teams. It provides all parties with a clearer understanding of how the different functions work together to ensure a high-quality imaging service for patients. In addition, staff are given a questionnaire to feedback any issues or queries they have for the central-support office. Alliance Medical operates more than 30 mobile-imaging units and over 50 static-imaging facilities delivering services to National Health Service (NHS) and private customers across the UK.
