Regulations, perceived information quality and perceived risk of equity crowdfunding: A study of Malaysian investors

摘要

Investors in equity crowdfunding need both sufficient information disclosure and regulations to reduce their risk of investment in projects that are funded by equity crowdfunding. Perceived information quality has a negative influence on perceived investment risk. Regulations have a weak influence on perceived investment risk. Regulations moderate the relationship between information quality and risk.
