Hamilton Sunstrand To Continue Spacesuit Work

NASA spacesuit prime vendor Hamilton Sunstrand secured a contract worth up to $728.9 million to continue mission support for extra-vehicular activities involving the space Shuttle and international space Station through 2015, NASA announced Sept. 30.rnThe deal includes a base contract worth $315.5 million to keep the spacesuits ready aboard the space shutde and space Station for use during spacewalks between Oct. 1, 2010, and Sept. 30, 2015.
