Emergent Awarded Option For DARPA's F6 Program

The U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) selected Greenbelt, Md.-based Emergent Space Technologies Inc. in November to spend an additional year providing clus- ter flight guidance, navigation and control algorithms and software for DARPA's System F6 program. The program aims to demonstrate that clusters of wirelessly networked small satellites can be used to perform missions traditionally done by a single, larger standalone spacecraft.
