In the paper by Kim et al. (2007) there are lots of problems: A superficial reading immediately indicates that there are parameters and their units which were not included in the Nomenclature (e.g., C,f(V), values of C and k_G) while there are units which are unnecessarily repeated in text (as for Eqs. 19-22). The authors also did not convert units from different sources to those recommended by the SEJ and then in the paper there are different units for a same parameter, such as for pressure and evaporation rate. Such reading also shows that half of the paper is used for "calibrations" as well as most of the conclusions section is dedicated to them and that the results and discussion section contains only a paragraph for the physical analyses of the whole theoretical and experimental work while all of the rest of this section, that is, 4.5 pages (!) are on "calibrations". It seems that the paper is on calibration and not on solar energy. Whereas, values of solar radiation, ambient temperature, relative humidity, wind velocity, etc., essential for relevant physical analyses were not provided.
