CAISO seeks to allow certain generators to downsize projects

The California ISO wants FERC to approve a plan to give certainngenerators in its interconnection queue a chance to downsize theirnprojects.nSeveral generators have determined that for their projects to bencommercially viable, they will have to be built at lower capacitynlevels than those stated in their interconnection requests, the CAISOnexplained. But because the existing downsizing options are toonlimited, the ISO asked FERC to approve tariff revisions offering morenalternatives.
