Unusual locomotive workings

In the course of cataloguing photographs by R. H. Tunstall, I noted that on 12 March 1960 he travelled away from his Surrey home and the usual locations he visited to photograph steam locomotives on the Southern Region and went to Carpenders Park and Headstone Lane on the main line from Euston.He saw a variety of locomotive classes on passenger and freight workings. However, of particular note are three trains hauled by Southern Region locomotives, Schools 4-4-0 30921 Shrewsbury and Bullied Pacific's 34039 Boscastle and 34087 141 Squadron, all were 'up' trains of passenger coaches which included Southern stock. The Six Bells Junction website records the SR locomotives as seen both working trains and on shed at Watford. The listing also suggests they were special workings associated with a women's Hockey International at Wembley but has no further information regarding either the originating points or the routes taken etc.1 The listing on the Six Bells website also identifies that a further Bullied Pacific, 34089 602 Squadron, was also involved on the day.
