摘要

To meet the needs of evaluating slope stability, a binary interaction matrix is established on the basis of geological factors which affects rock slope stability. After the weight ration of each parameter is got, the rock mass instability index (RMII) can be computed. On the other hand, the predictability rating (PR) is calculated through observing whether geological factors greatly to affect slope deformation appear or not and what degree they function in. The above ways were used in one example of hydroelectric engineering.
