Yanshanian Orogenics in south china: a relation to neotethyan evolution

摘要

The paper represents many-sided evidence, including changing of sedimento-tectonic framework, magmatism, metamorphism and deformation, for the Yanshanian orogenics in west Yunnan and southeast coast region, and discusses its relation to Neotethyan evolution. Based on kinematic features, the orogenics can be classified into subduction-, collision-, shearing- and intracontinent-types, the former being well compatible with the Hellenides-Dinarides and the Ligurides in southern Europe.
