摘要

In this paper the abundance, types and thermal evolution of organic material are studied in the Langshan Formation of Lower Cretaceous in the Cuoqin basin. This formation is a suit of carbonate rocks and 1493.4 m thick. For thydrocarbon source rocks in it, the average content of organic material is 0.12 /100, the contents of chloroform asphlat 'A' are mostly 40-60 ppm, and the hydrocarbon-generating potential capacity is more than 0.25 mg/g. The types of organic material are sapropel and saprople-humus.
