摘要

Based on thin sections, X-ray diffraction analysis, granularity analysis, mercury injections, microscanning, porosity, permeability, core fluid sensitivity tests, and logging data, a new conditional crossplot method is put forward, which is used to determine clay mineral type and contents. The results show that K-TH crossplots can identify different combinations of clay minerals under the effect f feldspar and igneous rock fragments. Multi-variable linear regression method is used to determine clay contents at different intervals.
