摘要

"Monitoring is legal." That notion resounded at the June security seminar focused on "Monitoring and Network Security" organized at the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague. The information and communications technology and security experts discussed not only technical but also legal and ethical aspects of monitoring network traffic. Extensive discussions touched in particular upon the legality of monitoring network traffic and data storage.
