PROSPECT OF HARD ELECTRONICS

摘要

R&D on ultra-low-loss power device technologies has started in the fiscal year 1998 under New Sunshine Project as a front runner of "Hard Electronics". The aim of the R&D is to establish fundamental technologies of SiC power devices for first 5 years and to develop power device technologies for special purposes for next 5 years. Outline of the R&D is presented.
