Denmark Looks Back on the History of Electricity

Ever since it entered service in 1920, Gudenaa Power Station has lit up homes throughout the Danish region of Jutland. The largest facility of its kind in Denmark, Gudenaa draws its power from the country's largest man-made reservoir - Lake Tange. In operation since electricity was in its infancy, the Gudenaa Power Station is the home of Denmark's first Museum of Electricity. The Danish Museum of Physics, Technology and the Cultural History of Electricity opened to the public on August 27, 1984.
