Opening New Roads

Each year, businesses around the world lose billions of dollars because their goods and personnel are stuck in traffic. Additional billions are lost because of traffic accidents, environmental damage and vehicle maintenance costs. Fuzzy systems can help to reduce these costs by making mathematical models of human influences and of complex connections between input parameters that can be used to predict - and therefore avoid - areas of congestion on highways.
