Energy, the future and our coasts

摘要

With this issue we explore new ground - or, perhaps more specifically, new water. Energy and the coast have been connected in many ways - through offshore oil and gas extraction, fuel shipping, and development of power plants along the coast to take advantage of ocean cooling water. And, the energy of offshore wind and ocean waves shapes and reshapes the coast.
