Tall Ships at Southampton

Southampton hosted the first leg of Tall Ships 2000, a major two-way trans-Atlantic race featuring some of the world's best known Class A vessels. Arriving from all over the world, the majority of the entrants were dressed overall which helped to create a carnival atmosphere for this prestigious four-day event.
