How to get there

From Poole take the A350 towards Bournemouth then the B3369 signposted Sandbanks, Beaches and Swanage via toll ferry. Once over the chain-ferry (which operates every 20 minutes from 0700 to 2300 except during refit periods) stay on the B3351 Ferry Road until Studland village, then turn first left into Beach Road then immediately right into Rectory Lane. At the end of Rectory Lane turn right into Manor Road and there is a National Trust pay-and-display car park slightly further along on the right, next to the Bankes Arms pub.
