New Centurion joins pool

Hamburg-based hellespont tankers has taken delivery of the 11,551gt Hellespont Centurion, the first in a series of eight 17,000dwt IM0-2 chemical tankers being built by South Korea's Sekwang Shipbuilding. She recently completed her maiden voyage to load her first cargo in Southeast Asia destined for Europe.rnThe newbuilding measures 144m by 22.6m and can load 15 different grades of liquid cargo in epoxy coated tanks. Hellespont Tankers will commercially manage the vessel, which has been entered into the Hamburg-based Seatramp Intermediate Tanker Pool.
