Southampton is the place to see cruise ships, and this month we feature two new ships making their debut. Ovation of the Seas and Aidaprima are both remarkable vessels in their own right and, although it is unlikely that traditional cruise ship lovers might be sceptical about their lines, we go on board to see what they are like. While new cruise ships seem to be arriving almost every month, we also look at a classic historic liner in the shape of Rotterdam. It is worth contrasting her history, design and interiors with the new modem mega-ships making their UK debut. What would Rotterdam's first passengers have thought of Ovation of the Seas, one wonders?
