Spanning thousands of miles and a cluster of 79 islands, Croatia's Dalmatian Coast has acquired a solid reputation as one of Europe's most attractive locations for yachting, boating, sports fishing and vacationing.Since 2004, the Dalmatia region has also been home to Colnago Marine, a small boatbuilder with big ambitions. Formed by Luka Colnago and based in the Port of Split, Dalmatia's largest city, the company has come to specialise in the production of aluminium workboats and pleasure craft, typically producing between 10 to 15 such vessels annually - primarily for domestic customers, though overseas orders and enquiries are picking up pace.
