As You Like It 2009 at the Royal Shakespeare Company: An interview with Michael Boyd

The Royal Shakespeare Company's latest production of As You Like It, directed by the company's artistic director, Michael Boyd, opened on 18 April 2009. The production was one of the first performed by the newly formed ensemble of 44 actors who are working together on a programme of Shakespeare and new works until summer 2011. The principle behind the ensemble is to have a group of actors who learn and grow together, developing strong relationships with the wider company, the audiences and each other.
