E-peas (Electronic Portable Energy Autonomous Systems) was founded in December 2014 "to enable the seamless operation of all connected nodes, anywhere, anytime, in any conditions with smart, innovative solutions." The company develops energy harvesting and processing solutions for longer battery life and increased robustness in all IoT applications. E-peas secured local government grants and private seed funding from The Faktory and WING in December 2014. In October 2017, e-peas closed a new round of funding of $4.2 million (euro 3.5 million) led by Partech Ventures and including Airbus Ventures, JCDecaux Holding, Semtech, SRIW and Vives 2. Additional capital is expected to be raised next year. The company has 8 employees and is hiring.
