Public Education Efforts Gaining New Emphasis

The Navy League's primary mission of providing public education on issues of importance to U.S. naval and maritime interests stands to get a significant boost in the coming months with the planned introduction of a "blueprint" for "National Public Education Seminars." Several "prototype" seminars already are in the works in Florida and Texas, and the Navy League Public Education Committee is working to have the seminar blueprint approved for distribution at the National Convention Oct. 30-Nov. 4 in Palm Desert, Calif., according to committee Chairman Walter H. Reese, a national director from Milton, Fla.
