Foreign Sea Cadets Visit the States As Part of International Exchange

Thirty-six international Sea Cadets and their adult chap-erones visited Naval Station Newport, R.I., in early July as part of the 2011 U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) International Exchange Program (IEP).The cadets represented seven maritime countries that are members of the International Sea Cadet Association (ISCA), a voluntary association of independent Sea Cadet Corps, or corresponding organizations, that promote the benefits of sea cadet training worldwide. The United States is a founding member of ISCA and offers exchanges to U.S. Naval Sea Cadets.
