How come we don't talk about sales and productivity in the same article? There are dozens of articles about sales and marketing written every year for our industry. There are also plenty of production-improvement articles. It seems to me that the two should be discussed together. After all, when you really latch onto a great marketing strategy that brings in great sales, you can't follow through if your productivity is stuck in low gear. For this article, I combined these two subjects as a way to encourage screen printers to look at the big picture. Sales people and production people may always seem to be at odds with one another, but they cannot exist without each other—at least not in a company that is designed to be profitable.
