One of the industry's oldest information security events, the annual RSA Conference once again will comprise a couple hundred educational sessions, various peer-to-peer gatherings, a slew of fun-filled social happenings, one heck of a large expo floor and, of course, the industry's premier event, the SC Magazine Awards 2008 Gala. Both the basics and the cutting-edge are covered, but there's still a few surprises, with such offerings as the Security Smackdown, an interactive learning station that allows interested attendees to test their vulnerability knowledge, or the special forum on national cybersecurity readiness, which will review just how far we've come in the five years since the release of the National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace.
