Action demanded on reporting of casualties

The ICS and the ITF have jointly called for action to be taken over the continuing failure of some flag states to submit casualty reports to the IMO. The April note pointed out that under SOLAS, flag states are required to supply the IMO with "pertinent information concerning the findings of such investigations".
