A colleague recently told me about a product mark that looks strikingly similar to the European CE safety mark (pictured top), which indicates that it complies with the essential requirements of the relevant European health, safety and environmental protection legislation. The China Export mark (pictured bottom) could, in my opinion, confuse the many practitioners who buy products for safety purposes, or who work in standards enforcement.
