Avoiding slips, trips and falls

Health and safety experts showed business leaders ways to help them and their employees avoid slips, trips and falls (STFs) at a recent meeting staged by IOSH Tyne and Wear Branch. Around 60 people attended the event at the Nissan Sports and Social Club in Sunderland to hear discussions on near-miss reporting, the importance of floor cleaning and preventing falls on stairs and escalators.
