Construction is on schedule for the Federal Aviation Administration's new air traffic control tower and terminal radar approach control (TRACON) facilities at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. of Pasadena, Calif., broke ground on the project in March 2004, and completion is scheduled for 2006. The new control tower and TRACAN are expected to cost approximately $54 million, with the entire cost paid by federal funds.
