Roisin Heneghan and Shih-Fu Peng were sure they hadn't won the Grand Egyptian Museum competition. They were sure they hadn't even been shortlisted. 'The date had passed by when we should have heard,' Heneghan says. 'We were expecting some documents for another project and when a package came, looking all official, we assumed that's what it was. To be shortlisted - to get down from 1500 to 20 - that was amazing. We told everyone in the office to savour the moment; that this was going to be a great peak. 'When Peter Cook and the other jury members called to let us know that we had won the competition, that was really hard to believe. He put us on speaker phone - the jury said afterwards that they wanted to hear our yips of delight. Even so, when we put the phone down we said to each other "did T get that right?". We had to call back four times before we were convinced.'
