Recyclebank partners with Waste Management

Recyclebank hopes to expand its reach through an agreement with Waste Management as part of a broader effort to network with outside brands. The agreement with Waste Management will allow the massive waste-hauling and recycling company to offer the recycling rewards program to its nearly 20 million North American customers over the next several years. As part of the deal, Recyclebank, which is present in more than 300 communities in the U.S. and U.K., and offers points towards discounts at more than 3,000 local and national businesses, will also take over management of Greenopolis, Waste Management's own recycling points rewards program, which is available in 1,000 locations around the North America. Additionally, Recyclebank will also assume management of WM's other social media, outreach and promotional tools, including RecyclePix and the Facebook game Oceanopolis.
