This disclosure is leveraging the re-writable passive e-paper technology into the retail shelf tag label market. The idea is to use a passive e paper display tag instead of the current permanently printed label. Leveraging the re-writable passive e-paper reprinting capabilities, we can completely eliminate the current cumbersome operation of distributing printed labels, completely eliminate costly mistakes in labeling, enable unprecedented shelf tag label update frequency, have a closed loop reporting of price update, and reduce labor related costs.
