Junction boxes and connector housings known in the art comprise cavities for reviving and holding terminals inserted in. The terminal cavities are usually designed for one special design. The terminals provide a primary retention function by using flexible arms that cooperate with rigid edges in the cavities (figure 1). This design works for single terminal quite well. In junction boxes it is desirable to use bus bar structures (figure 2) to save unnecessary wire connections or splices. The problem is to get a proper primary retention system for the single terminal and the bus bar without adding others components.
