This disclosure provides an embossing feature in a uniform cross-section snap ring 1, which will act as an anti-rotation feature in housing or transmission case 2. Snap ring 1 is used to axially support clutch pack 3 and transfer load to transmission case 2. Snap ring 1 is an integral part of clutch pack 3 and holds backing plate 4 in transmission case 2.
