Modular wire die strip tooling to reduce cost of bar wound electric motors

The present invention is used lo form the magnet wire tips (5) in conjunction with wire cutting later in the production process to enable the bar wound stator assembly process. This new modular design allows for change to only the part touching details (3) for each wire size rather than the entire tooling package. This new design reduces the cost of die strip tooling for each stator design and replacement tooling set in production. This is one of the most significant cost drivers when developing new electric motors.
