America Online, Inc.'s (AOL's) 30 million subscribers can benefit from Amazon.com Inc.'s Internet search and personalization technologies, as well as product comparison services, starting with the 2002 holiday shopping season as part of a new, multiyear strategic alliance signed by the two e-commerce giants. In addition, AOL has made a $100 million equity investment in Amazon.com common stock.
