Government agencies concerned about Internet privacy and security can implement technological solutions to address these fears, but these tools won't be practical if they are not easy to use, the president of the International Security, Trust, and Privacy Alliance (ISTPA) told attendees July 11 at the e-Gov 2001 conference in Washington, D.C. John Sabo, who also is manager-security, privacy, and trust initiatives at Computer Associates, Inc., said ISTPA is a coalition of companies and technology providers seeking to clarify and resolve issues related to security, trust, and privacy - primarily focusing on the protection of personal information.
