House Panel Assesses E-SIGN Law's Complexities

While the financial services community favors letting the implementation of the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) evolve at its current slow pace, one Washington, D.C.-based attorney told a House Financial Services Committee panel that Congress must amend the one-year-old law (REC, July 18, 2000, p. 3).
