The main focus of the ACA'2000 conference, organized by Steklov Institute of Mathematics at St.Petersburg and by the Euler International Mathematical Institute, Was: · on applications (actual and potential) of nontrivial computer algebra techniques, and · on interaction between computer algebra and other fields. Most algorithms developed in computer algebra assume that all the coefficients Are(exactly represented) real numbers; in many real-life situations, however, we Only know the intervals which contain the actual(unknown) values.
